Zelazowa is a Philadelphia based rock band. For the last three years they have basically been on a permanent tour, averaging 220+ shows a year in 47 US states and 14 countries. Their sound is something old and something new, something borrowed and something bruised. A bastard, chemically enhanced pregnancy between the multiple sperm and egg donors of The Beatles, The Pixies, with a spermal splash of Soundgarden thrown in for good measure.
Their unique day-to-day lifestyle was captured on film and released in October 2007 as the documentary/tourfilm What They Want Us to Be, We Can’t Always Be… Produced by David Urbanic and Ship King Media, LLC the film follows the life of a band constantly on the move, and rarely (if ever) staying in motels. This blog is consequently being managed by David Urbanic, who will be documenting the Spring European Tour for another feature length film, and photodocumentary.
